Containers lost on board the One Apus
Reading time: 1 minute
The One Apus container ship lost around 1,900 containers in the Pacific, of which around 40 contained dangerous goods. Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties among the seafarers, but in addition to the environmental damage, a high bill will be the one paid for the accident by the insurance companies. As reported by Splash 24/7, the One Apus in particular is insured by the Japan P&I Club, while the cargo is insured by an unspecified company.
It is not yet known how many boxes have been lost but considering the loss indicated so far it is assumed that these will have to pay up to 200 million dollars.
